Fluxes are usually added to molten aluminum to remove the impurities from the metal by generating dross. A good quality flux generates dross free from Aluminium.
It also prevents further oxidation on the surface.
It contains mainly chlorides, other exothermic compounds, and modifiers for easy removal of aluminum oxide from the metal, increasing the melt recovery and producing dry, powdery dross.
We offer Powdered fluxes as well as Granular fluxes depending on the application and temperature of the alloy.
